BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Help Stages of Freedom
Empower Our Youth & Promote Our History!
Work in our office or from your home.
Become a Volunteer for Stages of Freedom, Rhode Island's fastest-growing African American History & Culture non-profit.
Work with us in the following ways:
1) Help empower inner-city youth by teaching them social skills and changing their lives.
2) Research historical and contemporary topics for our on-going exhibits and studies.
3) Raise funds for our youth empowerment programs and exhibits by seeking donations or writing grant proposals.
4) Assist at our many events and fundraisers as a greeter, registrar, or helper.
5) Be a docent in our museum and impart information about our exhibits.
6) Work in our shop, sales from which pay for swimming lessons for youth of color.
6) Promote our work on social media or by distributing fliers.
